With hearts full of joy and arms wide open, Rishi Valley Kindergarten at Mar Dionysius Sr. Sec. School warmly welcomed its newest little angels and princes — including its tiniest toddlers — into the fold on a bright Monday morning.
The Dionz Auditorium was transformed into a haven of colour and cheer, thoughtfully decorated to greet both children and their proud parents. The ceremony began on a soulful note with a prayer song rendered by the school choir, followed by a mesmerizing welcome dance by the graceful students of Class 11, adding charm and grandeur to the occasion.
A heartfelt welcome address was delivered by Ms. Chinchu, the KG Coordinator, who warmly greeted the management, staff, parents, children, and well-wishers gathered for the special day.
The spirit of the occasion was elevated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the spread of knowledge, hope, and new beginnings. The gentle glow of the flame set a serene and sacred tone for the day.
The School Principal Mr. Joseph C. Michael delivered the inaugural address, sharing words of encouragement and vision for the new academic year. His message reflected the school’s deep commitment to nurturing young minds in a caring and inspiring environment.
The event was further brightened by a sweet and serene solo performance by Ayona Ann Bilgy of Class 5.
The presidential address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Gigi P. Abraham, the School Administrator, who emphasized the importance of nurturing children through meaningful social interaction and value-based behaviour before introducing them to formal academics. His words offered deep insight into the heart of early education.
This was followed by a warm felicitation by Mrs. Anu George Academic Director, who expressed her delight in witnessing such a beautiful start to the academic year. She encouraged the parents to walk hand in hand with the school in shaping the young minds.
The celebration continued with a delightful UKG dance performance, followed by the most awaited moment — distribution of welcome gifts to each child. This heartwarming gesture was made even more special with the presence and support of ESAF Bank, Mallappally Branch.
The event concluded on a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Julie who sincerely thanked the school management, staff, parents and every helping hands behind the scene , who contributed to making the event a grand success. Soon after, the National Anthem echoed in the venue, weaving a melody of pride and patriotism into the hearts of all present.
As tiny footsteps echoed through the corridors for the very first time, a new chapter of dreams began to unfold. With sparkling eyes, innocent smiles, and hearts brimming with curiosity, our little stars stepped into a world where learning is love, and every day is a new adventure.
