The Investiture Ceremony of Mar Dionysius School was held on 20th June 2025, marking a significant moment in the academic calendar—the formal establishment of the School Parliament for the year.
The event was gracefully anchored by Anndra Alice Kurian and Nandana Ajimon, who set the tone for a day filled with pride, promise, and purpose. The ceremony began with a vibrant band procession, creating an atmosphere of celebration and school spirit. This was followed by a soulful prayer song rendered beautifully by the school choir, invoking blessings for the new academic journey.

The gathering was warmly welcomed by Angelin Ann Santhosh, whose address extended heartfelt greetings to the guests, students, and staff.
The ceremonial lighting of the lamp—a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment—was led by the Chief Guest Ms. Leela Lal, alongside the Principal Mr. Joseph C Michael, Administrator Rev. Fr. Gigi P Abraham, and Academic Director Mrs. Anu George.

In his presidential address, Rev. Fr. Gigi P Abraham emphasized the role of student leadership in nurturing responsible citizens and future changemakers. Chief Guest Ms. Leela Lal then delivered a deeply inspiring inaugural address, drawing from her own life experiences to motivate the student leaders to lead with courage, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose.

The highlight of the day was the oath-taking ceremony, where the newly elected leaders pledged their commitment to uphold the values of Mar Dionysius School with sincerity and dedication. They were formally invested with sashes and badges by the Chief Guest, symbolizing their new roles and responsibilities.

A dignified handing over of house flags from the outgoing captains to the new leaders followed, marking the respectful transition of leadership. The Head Boy and Head Girl were officially invested by the Administrator and Academic Director, while the School Flag was handed over by the Principal, signifying the formal passing on of duties.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Head Girl, Ms. Harsha H Nair, who expressed gratitude to everyone who made the event a success. The program ended on a high note, with warm words of congratulations to the newly elected captains of Mar Dionysius School.

The Investiture Ceremony stood as a testament to the school’s unwavering belief in student leadership, accountability, and the power of nurturing young minds to lead with vision and compassion.
